Poverty Reality Walk
Take a morning or afternoon and be led around the streets of Asheville by our poverty scholars. Learn first hand about the agencies serving them as well as their experience(s) being served. Discover how much work goes into all that happens at Ahope. Discover the importance of hospitality at Beloved.
Where can folks use the bathroom? Find something to eat? Receive case management? Take a shower?
See the streets, if only for a few hours, through the eyes of those who must navigate them to meet their basic needs.
