Introducing Community Groups Coordinators

Exciting news from the Asheville Poverty Initiative (API)! We are thrilled to introduce an incredible new program that transforms our 12 Baskets Café and Garden into a community center after normal operating hours.

Whether you're planning a community forum, a town hall meeting, a board game night, a training session, or a book club gathering, our café and garden are the ideal spaces to bring people together.

With our dedicated Co-Community Groups Coordinators (Co-CGOs), Greg and Ethan, we have already begun hosting some weekly events in our space. Both have been in our community as longtime volunteers and active members of the 12 Baskets community. They are here to support you every step of the way to make your get together a success.

If you're interested in making our café or garden your go-to community space after hours, don't hesitate to reach out. Contact us at groups@ashevillepovertyinitiative.org or simply stop by and ask for Ethan or Greg. Let's build a stronger community together at 12 Baskets Café and Garden!
