Give Connections, Create Impact
Every Tuesday at 12 Baskets Cafe, folks gather around the front of the cafe waiting for “the tech guys.” Tech Tuesday, the no-cost community tech support offering, happens every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 12 Baskets Cafe. Jensen Gelfond of Asheville Digital Lifestyle founded Tech Tuesday in 2023. Sebastian Mathews (formerly with Apple and the owner of Cinefile Video and The CineVault) joined the effort in 2025.
Access to digital communication has never been more necessary to navigate today's interconnected society. Our ask of you today is to donate your old cell phones, tablets, and laptops, and the Tech Tuesday team will get them to someone in need. Our top need is smartphones, but we also accept chargers and headphones. See below for more information!
Several churches in town are also partnering with the project and you can drop off your old phones with them!
