THANK YOU Mission Nurses!

This week, we were honored to be chosen by the nurses at Mission Hospital as the recipients of a $10,000 check! This incredible gift was voted on by the nursing staff and they collectively chose 12 Baskets Cafe after hearing out our mission and our vision of a beloved community that celebrates mutuality, abundance, and equity.

On top of the gift, we also got to have several amazing nurses volunteer with us at our lunch service. These incredible folks jumped right in and got straight to work. You can see the team pictured below with former nurse and current 12 Baskets coffee maker, Melissa. It was truly an honor to have them and we are so thankful for all that they do to serve the community of Asheville.
